Simple Little Pleasures

((casual and open of course C: just breakin the ice and getting the ball rolling. multiple threads are welcome as usual))

The record player in the corner of the library played a light little tune, though it was slightly muffled by static. Books of all shapes, sizes and colors were stacked in spires around the few tables, reaching higher than the shelves. In between the mess, a pink haired woman sat, stamping a few open periodicals.

Rosalynn tucked a stray curl behind her ear, glasses slipping slightly down her nose. If she had any daily visitors, which she didn't, they'd be used to this routine of hers. It seemed that it was all she did these days; stamp and repeat. Glancing at the wilting flowers in the vase on her desk, she let out a soft sigh. Maybe she'd go purchase a new bouquet this evening. Stamping the large book in front of her with a loud thunk, the girl continued to work, letting her thoughts run astray.
